Formerly known as the Miramar Hotel, The Mira has undergone a dramatic renovation this year and is now the stylish Kowloon-side destination of choice. For their wedding packages, The Mira has enlisted celebrity wedding planner Colin Cowie to come up with six themes, Ravishing Ruby, Emerald Dream, Sophisticated Sapphire, Golden Glamour, Silver Chic and Pristine Pearl. Each theme gives the ballroom a unique, modern twist. Everything, from linens to backdrops and flowers will be carefully co-ordinated to match with your chosen theme. New AV and lighting systems give the room an intimate feel. A minimum spend of $9,688 per table of 12 is required before you get the colour scheme, however. Banquets are $7,688-$14,988, with tons of freebies for bookings of 15 tables or more.
