Hong Kong born designer Vien Lee studied fashion in Paris for three years, before returning here to start up her own collection of gowns, cocktail dresses and qipaos. With nary a meringue in sight, her sleek designs are ideal for a bride that wants to reuse her wedding gown as an evening dress. Gowns cost US$500-US$760. The qipao are of a modern design, not unlike modern Shanghai Tang-style cuts.
