Can’t believe we haven’t written about this amazing place before. Move over Kimberly Road for wedding gear on a budget–these days, it’s all about Golden Plaza in Mong Kok. Not only does it offer gowns to buy and rent (though they can be a tad frilly), the entire plaza is packed to the rafters with stationery printers, wedding favor shops and outlets selling all kinds of accessories for both Chinese and western wedding ceremonies, not to mention several alcohol suppliers if you intend to BYO. A friend of ours mentioned that she got her invitations printed there for $2,000, after being quoted $15,000 at one of the luxury printers in town.
